Founder and CEO

Aaron has spent most of his career in B2B software, as both the President of two different software companies, and as an investor. This combination of experiences provides Aaron with a nuanced lens to look at software businesses and a hard-earned respect for the operators of those businesses.
Prior to starting Maple River Software, Aaron was the President of two enterprise software businesses, R.O. Writer and Horizon Retail Solutions. R.O. Writer is a provider of shop management software for auto repair shops and Horizon Retail Solutions is a software provider for farm and home retailers. In both businesses, Aaron oversaw meaningful growth in revenue, number of employees, and customer satisfaction.
Aaron began his software experience in acquisitions and integrations, looking at a variety of software businesses, closing over 10 transactions and working closely with the management teams of newly acquired businesses.

Aaron was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and lives there with his wife and two young sons.
